Philanthropy at Flinders
Matthew Flinders Anglican College is committed to academic excellence, co-curricular achievement and development of character in a nurturing environment. This strong, clear focus on the individual is increasingly rare—and vitally important—in the world of education, but it is an expensive mission. School fees cover the cost of the day-to-day operations of Flinders, but continuous improvement of our programs and facilities is made possible by the generosity of our school community. Therefore, the College relies on contributions from parents, alumni and friends to keep this unique educational experience flourishing.
There are many ways to support the College.
One way you may like to consider is through Strategic Initiative gifts which are targeted ways to support the crucial building blocks of the Matthew Flinders community, namely student life, educational tools and campus spaces. The current strategic initiative is our magnificent Performance Centre which will be an extension of the existing drama and music facilities. This world-class facility will provide our students with state-of-the-art facilities for enriching their education.

The facility is designed to extend the choices of teaching methods at Flinders, and will include facilities such as:
- Auditorium seating of over 600, with a capacity to seat up to 1000
- Gallery and exhibition space
- Orchestra pit for musical performances
- Music teaching rooms
- Commercial kitchen, cafe and tuckshop
- Function and event facilities
- Indoor and outdoor seating for break-out sessions
- Tuition rooms
- Versatile learning spaces
- Dance studio
We invite you to consider the ways you can be a part of this pivotal undertaking, to open doors for those who wish to accomplish more. Your commitment will make a very real difference.
The decision to give and the size of your gift is up to you. You can support the College by:
- Making a donation by cheque, credit card or EFT.
