Daniel off to nationals in Primary Schools Tennis

Year 7 Matthew Flinders Anglican College student Daniel Lane won the boys tournament at the State Primary Schools Tennis Championships held earlier this month (August).

Daniel, of Buderim, was one of three Flinders students to be selected as part of the Sunshine Coast Regional team.

A quiet achiever, Daniel’s win in the final (6-0, 4-6, 6-4), makes him the best 12-year-old player in Queensland.

This is a fantastic achievement and Daniel now continues on to the National Championships in Bendigo later this year.
