Academic Scholarship
(Information for entrance in 2013)
In order to assist students to attend Matthew Flinders Anglican College, Academic Scholarships remitting 50% of tuition fees are offered to students entering Years 7-12.
Applicants for Academic Scholarships must demonstrate outstanding academic ability. The scholarship will be awarded for the duration of the student’s Secondary schooling, and will be subject to an annual review.
Submissions should include:
1. A completed application form.
2. Supporting documentation pertaining to the applicant's academic ability (i.e. results of any standardised testing such as ICAS or WISC).
3. A copy of the applicant’s most recent school report and NAPLAN results.
Applicants are required to take part in the scholastic aptitude tests conducted by EduTest Pty Ltd on Saturday 24 March 2012. The scholarship testing fee of $75 is payable online during the application process. (Please note: Applicants applying to sit the scholastic aptitude test through Edutest may apply for both the Academic and General Excellence Scholarships but are only required to make one payment of $75 for the scholarship testing fee. General Excellence applicants should also forward a $40 scholarship application fee with their completed application form, however, no additional fee is required to apply for the Academic Scholarship.)
Short-listed applicants and their parents will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal. Scholarship winners will be announced following this process.

The closing date for applications is 19 March 2012.
(Note: If students are applying for more than one scholarship, it is requested that they submit a separate portfolio with each application.)
