Performance Scholarship - Co-Curricular
(Information for entrance in 2013)
In order to assist students to attend Matthew Flinders Anglican College, Performance Scholarship - Co-Curricular remitting 50% of tuition fees are offered to students entering Years 7-12.
Applicants for the Performance Scholarships – Co-Curricular must demonstrate academic ability along with outstanding performance in one of the following College co-curricular areas: chess, debating, oratory/public speaking, performing arts, sport or visual arts. Applicants are also to show evidence of broad involvement across school life. The scholarship will be awarded for the duration of the student’s Secondary schooling, and will be subject to an annual review.
Submissions should include:
1. A completed application form.
2. Supporting documentation for the applicant’s areas of excellence including levels of achievement, eg State or National level for sport, or the equivalent level of participation or competition in other College co-curricular areas. Also include documentation showing evidence of broad involvement across school life.
3. A copy of the applicant’s most recent school report and NAPLAN results.
4. Two references relevant to the areas of excellence including the contact details of the referees.
5. The scholarship application fee of $40 (cheques should be made payable to MFAC).
Short-listed applicants and their parents will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal. Scholarship winners will be announced following this process.
Completed applications together with the application fee of $40 should be returned in an envelope addressed to:

The closing date for applications is 19 March 2012.
(Note: If students are applying for more than one scholarship, it is requested that they submit a separate portfolio with each application.)
