Primary Pastoral Care
The Primary School provides a very comprehensive pastoral care program designed to assist students to become well equipped to confidently and capably deal with social situations. We aim for our students to be resilient, happy, engaged with learning, able to relate to a wide range of fellow students and adults, caring, compassionate and capable of accepting responsibility.
During their time in the Primary School students will be involved and benefit from many of the following programs; Orientation processes, Buddies, Cross Age Tutoring , Protective Behaviours, Friendly Schools and Families, Flinders Friends and various Games Room activities.
Our Primary students, parents and staff can access the expertise of two College Counsellors who are able to assist with emotional difficulties, social difficulties, family issues, behaviour management problems and managing transition concerns. This year, the College has conducted Triple P Parenting courses to assist families with many every-day challenges.
