The College fields U/13, U/15 and Open (boys and girls) basketball teams. These teams are divided into A/B sides for the season.  The selection process begins in May.

Competitions

The Flinders basketball teams play in the Sunshine Coast Inter-school Basketball Competition. This competition is traditionally played Friday afternoons/evenings during Terms 3 and 4. 18A Boys and Girls also compete in the Champion Basketball School of Queensland (CBSQ) tournament in Brisbane each September.

Training

Training sessions take place on the College basketball courts. Training sessions are held from 3.30pm until 5pm. Flinders has a number of highly qualified staff appointed to the basketball coaching team, which also includes a number of coaches drawn from local clubs.
