Cross Country
Flinders runaway winners at Independent championships
Teams
The College selects a boys and girls team of 60 athletes, 6 from each age group from ages 13 to 19.
Competitions
The team represents the College at both the SCISSA Cross Country in early Term 2 and also at the Regional Championship held in the last weeks of second term.
Training
Training sessions take place on the Flinders Main Oval on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, starting early in Term 1, for all athletes.
Teacher in Charge
Mr Andy Townson is one of the College’s Design Technology and Health and Physical Education teachers. He is a keen runner, competing in distances from 5km to marathon.
