Volleyball
Teams
The College fields four teams: Open Boys, Open Girls, Senior Boys and Senior Girls. These teams consist of students from Years 10-12.
Competitions
The Flinders Volleyball teams play in a competition called the Trish Buckley Shield held at the Caloundra Indoor Stadium. This competition is traditionally played Friday afternoons/evenings during Term 1. It is a fantastic competition that allows our students to develop the skills associated with volleyball and gain valuable experience in a team environment. Students will also officiate other games and perform various other duty roles.
Training
Training sessions take place in the Flinders Sports Centre. Training sessions will be held on Tuesday mornings at 6am and Wednesday lunchtime at 1pm. Flinders has a number of highly qualified staff appointed to the volleyball coaching team.
