We are very fortunate at Matthew Flinders Anglican College to have formed great relationships with several overseas schools, which enable our students the opportunity to participate in a number of reciprocal exchanges.
We regularly send groups of Flinders students to Chile, France, Japan and New Caledonia, where they are hosted by school families and enjoy amazing educational and cultural experiences. In return, groups from those schools visit us to attend school and host with Flinders families. Our inaugural exchange with a school in Denmark will go ahead later in 2016.
We are also facilitating a growing number of individual reciprocal exchanges, mainly involving the Year 10 cohort, where students can spend up to 3 months attending school in another country. Host brothers and sisters from England, France, Japan, New Zealand and Switzerland will attend the College later in the year to enjoy the reciprocal hospitality of their Flinders families.
