Matthew Flinders Anglican College warmly invites you to an enjoyable and informative evening on the topic of raising teenage girls on Wednesday, 9 August at 6pm.
Renowned author and journalist Madonna King will talk about her book “Being 14: Helping Fierce Teens Become Awesome Women“, which helps parents to understand how young women are feeling and how to support them to navigate the “tricky teen years”.
During the evening, Madonna will present the findings of her research, based on interviews with 200 14-year-old girls across the country, and on conversations with successful school principals, psychologists, CEOs, police, and neuroscientists. A Q&A session will follow.
The audience will also have the opportunity to purchase Madonna’s book and to have it signed.
Complimentary tea and coffee will be served.
