A relatively new and quickly developing sport at Matthew Flinders Anglican College. Cheerleading promotes team work, strength, co-ordination and fun.
There are junior secondary and senior secondary teams available to boys and girls.
Teams compete in a number of disciplines in competitions held locally, intra- and interstate.
Cheerleading training is held every Tuesday afternoon from 3.30pm to 5.00pm and Pom training is from 5.00pm to 6.00pm in the Upper Foyer of the Performance Centre. Additional training sessions may be called during the holidays, particularly before competitions.
