Flinders Cricket Club
The Flinders Cricket Club was established in 2005 and operates under the establishment of the P&F and operations as a Flinders Supporters Group Club. Although the Club is managed by parents and volunteers, the College provides support in many areas including grounds, maintenance and all the practise facilities. Parent involvement is essential and also a key to the clubs success. The Club aims to instill sportsmanship and team spirit and the opportunity for all players to participate and improve their cricket skills.
Flinders Cricket Club is affiliated and competes in the Sunshine Coast Junior Cricket Competition. This is a well established and very successful competition housing clubs from the wider community.
Flinders Cricket Club had a very successful 2016/2017 season, with 3 of our teams reaching the finals in the competition. We are confident that we can be equally as successful in seasons to come. Our success has be attributed to the first class coaching by Alan (Butch) Gale and a number of junior coaches.
A number of our Club players have gone to play seniors and representative cricket for not only the Sunshine Coast, but also Queensland.
