Volleyball is flourishing at Matthew Flinders Anglican College due to our great facilities and friendly coaches.
Volleyball is available for boys and girls aged 8 to 18 years.
The College Secondary volleyball teams compete in two different competitions throughout the year: the SCISSA Wednesday afternoon competition through Term 1 and the Trish Buckley shield for the Seniors, which is held on Friday nights in March.
Primary students play Volleyball in Years 4, 5 and 6 teams as part of the Semester 2 SCISSA Program.
Training sessions take place in the Matthew Flinders Anglican College Sports Centre. Training sessions for Secondary students are held on Tuesday mornings 6.30am– 8.00am and Friday afternoons 3.30pm–5.00pm. Some teams may have different training times at the discretion of the team’s coach.
Primary students train on Monday lunchtimes throughout Semester 2.
