Flinders Dramatic Arts is excited to present the annual Flinders Dance Showcase on Thursday, 15 October at 7:00pm in the Flinders Performance Centre.
Presented for one night only, this 75-minute show is packed with pace, power and high energy.
Featuring 50 dancers from Years 7 to 12, the performance highlights the routines performed at regional, state and national levels. Tickets are on sale now at https://www.trybooking.com/DQEZM
The Showcase will feature a vibrant collection of routines from the Flinders Dance repertoire, including competition pieces, production numbers, duos and solos across Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz and Musical Theatre. Our talented group of dancers have earned placements in every competition this season, while qualifying for the State competition in October with group, solo and duo routines.
Students have been guided by original choreography from Flinders staff, including Miss Chanel Grahame and Miss Amy Cahill, and select senior students.
Our dancers also recently traveled to Sydney to immerse themselves in workshops at the 2026 Australian Dance Festival. While there, they caught a performance of Disney’s The Lion King, which was made extra special with Old Flinderian Laura Tipoki (Class of 1999) serving as Musical Director for the production!
The Flinders Dance program is set to grow even further in 2027, and students and staff are looking forward to an exciting future!
