Year 8 Digital Technologies

Coding is more than just typing commands into a computer, it’s about solving problems and bringing ideas to life. In this course, you’ll program a Micromelon Rover and explore other interactive technologies. You’ll learn the key principles of designing and developing computer programs, including how to create algorithms and write code. If you enjoy problem solving and experimenting with technology, you’ll find this subject both fun and challenging as you tackle real-world tasks using programmable devices. Along the way, you’ll build advanced skills in coding and working with data, giving you a strong foundation for future studies in digital technologies.
