For students enrolled at Flinders, subject selections are made in August of the year preceding a student’s entry into Year 8, 9, 10 or 11. Following their Subject Information Event, each student will receive an email containing a link to EDVAL Choices, the College’s subject selection portal. The email contains a unique student access code and password as well as specific instructions on how to register elective preferences online.
Once in the site, it is just a matter of following the prompts as the rules in the system prevent students from entering prohibited combinations of subjects. Students should complete the subject selection process in consultation with their parents before printing two copies of the receipt; one for their records, the other to be signed and returned to Homeroom Mentors.
Students who are joining the College for the first time will be emailed a similar link as part of the enrolment process.
