In Year 10, English, Mathematics or Advanced Mathematics, Science or Advanced Science, Religious & Values Education and Core Health & Physical Education are all compulsory for the full year. One Semester of Humanities (chosen from the five available) is also compulsory.
Depending on their chosen Science pathway, students then select a further four (4) or five (5) electives from the remaining twenty-two (22) available.
All electives are semester-length courses and are designed to be a preparatory experience of similar subjects offered in Year 11. There are no absolute prerequisites for courses in Years 11 and 12 although students intending to study a language other than English in Senior are encouraged to take that language at Year 10.
