Year 10 Geography

This course investigates the threats to our vast ocean resources and the impact of atmospheric hazards on human wellbeing. A field trip to a coastal location allows students to put theory into practice. Digital mapping and graphic skills are developed in each unit of work. The main focus of Geography is the physical world and the diversity of human interaction with the environment.

Pathways

This subject provides a foundation for further studies of Geography in Year 11 and Year 12. The skills developed may also have application to other (Humanities/ Science/Arts/Technology) subjects.
