Year 10 Advanced Science

Advanced Science is a course consisting of three semesters of study; one each of Biological, Physical and Chemical Science. Biology examines the phenomenon of life in all its manifestations encompassing studies of the origin, development, and functioning of living systems and the biochemical and genetic mechanisms that underpin them. Physics studies the nature and properties of matter and energy, and how they interact with each other while Chemistry explores the links between the macroscopic properties of the physical world and the subatomic particles and forces that account for those properties.
